Leviticus 6:8-13 / John 1:14

Do you notice that your fire is dying? There are many people who think they are at that place with God. God told John, the revelator, to come up higher in the spirit because he was not yet at that level. If you have pride within you, it will prevent you from seeing what God wants you to see. There are things that God wants to show you, but where you are now, God wants to take you higher. When God is giving you grace, it is to receive the next grace.

Grace For Grace
When God gives you a certain dimension of grace, it is to receive a higher dimension (John 1:14). Grace is a certificate to let you know that God is giving you a grace to receive another dimension of grace. He gives you one level to reach the next level. God will not come and drop level ten grace on you, knowing that you have not yet received level one grace. One way to detect that pride is in you is when you believe that a message is familiar and you reject it. You believe that you already know the message, so you respond by ignoring it. There can be something that you miss inside that message. It is to impact your spirit, not your mind! After it enters your spirit, it then transforms your mind.

The Inner-Altar
The fire of God begins to burn inwardly first. There must be sincerity before you can manifest it outwardly. To know if you have the inward altar burning in you, there must be:
  1. Passion (to do the things of God). That inward flame gives off a certain thing.
  2. Zeal. (It births out of that fire).
  3. Hunger (for God). It will drive you to seek after God (Psalm 42:1).
  4. Burden. The things of God will become your concern (how to please Him; to see His work continue; to preach the gospel of God, etc.). When you have burden, you will not find any excuses! Nothing for God will be a problem. It drives you into prayer, fasting, and dedication. When you have a burden, you will sacrifice for the Lord. Nothing will be good to give up. While Jesus was on the earth, He said, “The zeal of His Father’s house began to eat Him up (Psalm 69:9/John 2:17).
  5. The love for God. You love Him for who He is. Love endures all things, including stormy weather and dry weather. When love is present in a certain place, it can keep a relationship strong. Only the love of God can sustain you. Love endures all things. The only way relationships can survive is if the love of God is in it. This love is birthed for the inner-altar. God may not allow you to marry as yet because He may see that you have bitterness in your heart.

These five must become your prayer points. Say, “Lord, bless me with zeal, burden,
hunger, passion and love for You. There must be something that troubles your spirit. You have a responsibility!

The Technology Of The Inner-Altar
Every fire that is going to burn, it must start within you. You cannot help people to build spiritual fire. They must  build their own first. Every altar has 3 components:
  1. A Priest
  2. A Sacrifice
  3. Fire

The Priest is You
You are the priest of the inner-altar. Take responsibility for your inner life. I can steer you as a mentor just like Paul steered Timothy, but you must take responsibility to build it. Spiritual laziness is an enemy! That's your first enemy to deal with. The devil does not come to joke. You must not wait for someone to take precaution for you. You are spiritually weak because you are lazy. Your Pastor can only pray with you. Get up, read the word, and pray! You are responsible to build your inner-altar. Spiritual laziness causes you to be absent from prayer meetings; stop reading the word; stop listening to teachings etc.

When the enemy keeps losing fight with you, what he does is to put spiritual laziness on you. God does not fill you unless you are hungry for it. He does not fill those who are already satisfied. If so, you have reached the place where you have already been filled. You need to be hungry after the things of God. Shift your focus then God will bless you. Life and peace do not leave you, whether through your testing not. Do not forget the peace of God.

Being Surrendered
How surrendered are you to God (Romans 12:1)? If God tells you to hand over that Car or to give all the money in your account, would you do it? When you say ‘I surrender all’, you must know what you are doing. God told Abraham, “Give me your son”. The Bible said that Abraham surrendered his son. The Lord instructed Abraham that anyone who would discourage him from going through with it, he should leave them at the foot of the mountain.

Because of what he was willing to give up, it proved that he was ready to receive. It proved Abrahams’ level of surrender! Do not envy anyone, because you never know what they have given up. So the more surrendered you are, the clearer you will hear God. No fire falls on empty altars. There are things that you hold dear to your heart. Whatever you love too much will block you from receiving. Do not love anything more than God.

The Fire
The fire is God’s response (Lev 9:24). It represents God’s approval, presence and
empowerment. God commanded that the fire be kept burning.

Signs that the inner altar is broken:
  • You feel disconnected from the voice of God.
  • You begin to imitate others instead of hearing God.
  • You rely on memory and not fresh revelation.
  • You neglect personal prayer.

How to rebuild your inner-altar?
  • Return to consistent and secret prayer.
  • People use fasting as an emergency tool.
  • Read the word of God until your spirit burns again!
  • Ask God to make you restless until you are burning.

God borrowed the face of Moses to the point where God said, “Your face has become my face. “No one sees my face and live”.

When you experience that encounter, that part of your flesh will die. It was so bad that Israelites were around Moses (the grace) and still died in the wilderness! They were disobedient and never took God at His word spoken through His servant.

They were never transformed. How many of you right now are disobedient and
doubt the prophetic word coming from His servant? God told Moses to tell Pharaoh to let MY people go. How can someone be in the midst of  prophetic anointing and not believe? Moses held up the same rod and the Red Sea was parted. The Bible says that God blessed Peter to the point where he was fearful (Luke 5:8). The Bible says that their Net broke and had to call other people to help them (Luke 5:6-7).

Peter was telling Jesus that they had toiled all night (because night was the best time to catch fish). Peter said something that was prophetic! He said, “Nevertheless, at thy word” (Luke 5:5). God is giving you something that is heavy! God is the only one who can bless you so much that it will challenge your very relationship with Him. Amen!
